WE WON!
 
Thanks to you for all your support and prayers.  Yvonne Michelle Williams is the newly elected Justice of the Peace for Precinct One and your support made it possible. 
 
With 100% of all precincts in, I took ALL but one precinct handily. And the one I did not take, we TIED!  Final count is 3,408 to 1,353. Victory margin 72% to 28%.  I was touched by the many stories the poll workers shared with me about how many voters came to the polls with my name on their minds.  They needed no reminders.  Some voters brought others but noted they had already voted for me in early voting.  THANK YOU!

Daniel Bradford conceded to me personally and gracefully while at Serrano's Election night.  He ran a competitive race and I wish him well & success in future endeavors. 
 
The many endorsements from democratic clubs, news organizations, elected officials and community leaders were humbling and I am truly grateful.  I am very mindful of the public trust the members of these organization bestow with their endorsements and you with your vote. I remain committed to ensure our legislative mandates are met; community participation is a must as we collectively address the challenges facing the citizens of Precinct 1.  I am researching programs to help put into place the matters we discussed during the campaign.  I welcome your ideas.
 
I do not have an opponent in the general election November 2, 2010.
